While flowers are beautiful, we get many, many submissions with flowers. Typically we accept 2-3 of these botanical gems. The rest hit the cutting room floor (pun intentional). If you want a good chance of your work being published, don't send us pictures of flowers or insects, because you will be in a swarm of similar shots (yes, I am on a roll).
What work is less in abundance? I suggest submitting work other than digital photography, such as drawings, paintings, jewelry, and sculpture.
But, the bottom line is SUBMIT SUBMIT SUBMIT!!! The deadline is quickly approaching: Feb 17th.
