October Favorites

HEY HEY HEY!

I’m positive that if you have been on the internet as long as it’s existed you must have come across a Favorites video on YouTube by now. But if by the miracle of your luck or because of your personal preference you have been unable to experience a Favorites video, no worries your time has come.
In its essence a Favorites video or in this case a blog post is where the author talks about the things that were their favorites about that month. And here I’ll be sharing my October Favorites!

  1. Alt-J- This band. I can’t even begin to explain because their music has the most flawless sound and it is ridiculously addicting. I listen to them all day so, when I don’t have them physically playing I can still hear them in my head like background music to my life. The indie music and the occasional rock may just be the perfect music for this fall. Listen to Taro for sure, it's my fave.
  2. Pumpkin Carving Party- I am so glad we did this.
  3. End of the 9 Weeks- My favorite because that means school year is ¼ done.
  4. Cliff Granola Bars- Are you feeling sluggish? Is it second period and your body is feeling lethargic? Are you day-dreaming about going home and taking a nap? Get one of these extra-scrumptious and extra-energizing bars from the local grocery store and you’ll be on your way to becoming a super-diligent and super-excellent student.
  5. Halloween- This is cliché favorite but it needed to be said, because hullo! FREE CANDY!
  6. Bread Baking- I baked plain bread for the first time for school purposes; the process was so therapeutic and the end result was delicious. It is something I would definitely do again. Also, post-baking my house was really warm and smelled great .
  7. The color of this one tree in my front yardWords won’t do justice so here’s a picture.

  8. This blog http://natgeofound.tumblr.com/ - Reading the captions and looking at the pictures is kind of like reading a small story and then having a visual representation of what the story was about.

These were some of my October favorites, and basically now I can’t wait for November because it will bring more Fall colors, the School Fall Play, and Thanksgiving!

Until Next Time,

Jaagrit
