Bennett * Monday, March 4

So today's speaker Blaine Siegel talked a little bit about Andy Warhol's relationship with screen printing in the early 60's, and how some of Warhol's images - like the materials he uses to print his Elvis skeletons - will last forever. This got me thinking about our own generation's culture icons, and what the first dozen years of the 21st century will be (in)famous for in decades to come...

1. Beyonce
2. Dubstep music
3. Hipster Culture
4. iPhones
5. The Death of Disney Channel
6. The Rebirth of the 90's
7. Marriage Equality
8. Excellent Movies
9. Bad Economy
10. eReaders
11. Gentrification
12. Adele
13. Expensive Coffee Machines

Did I miss anything?

* P.S. Ms. Green - Blaine also talked a little about The Mattress Factory. Possible warm weather field trip?
