It's that time of year again...

In a little more than a week, I will be graduating from Fox Chapel Area High School and will become a member of the Kenyon College Class of 2018.  With this wild, new beginning comes an ending that I have been both dreading and excitedly anticipating.  In a little more than a week,  I will no longer serve as Tapestry's Editor in Chief.  Being the Editor in Chief has been the single most rewarding experience of my high school career.  I have had the privilege to work with not only Fox Chapel's immensely talented artists and writers, but also with Tapestry's Senior Staff, a group characterized by their unending effort and their infinite kindness.  It was an honor to work with every one of them and it will be difficult to leave.

However, that sadness is mitigated by the knowledge that my position will be doubly-filled by Faith Kim and Sarah Ssemakula.  Both Faith and Sarah have been heavily involved with Tapestry since their freshman year and both have served on this year's Senior Staff.  Both ladies are more than capable of being Editor in Chief and the fact that both will fill the role leaves me with no doubt that Tapestry will be guided under the best leadership that the club has ever experienced.

Although I wish that I could stay in Tapestry infinitely, I know that it is in good hands.

Keep dreaming the wildest dreams and thinking the biggest thoughts.

With best regards and a fond farewell,

McKenna Trimble
